Call for papers: 6G: From Theory to Practice
Mobile communication is one of the most vibrant fields of global technological innovation. With the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) releasing the “Framework and Overall Objectives Recommendation for IMT towards 2030 and Future Development” in June 2023, the development vision, typical scenarios, and capability indicators of the sixth generation mobile networks (6G) have been defined. In December 2023, the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) identified the first batch of 16 radio access network (RAN) field projects for Rel-19, marking a new stage in the development of international standards. It is foreseeable that 6G has entered the period of its key technology research, standard setting, and engineering practice.
