 Agricultural sensors, as the source of information in smart agriculture, are the core technology of smart agriculture and play a vital role in acquiring information and intelligent control, which is essential in promoting agricultural development. This special issue is aimed at agricultural sensors, gathering the latest research work in this area. The special issue focuses on five major themes, including agricultural envi#ronment sensors, animal and plant sensors, agricultural product quality and safety sensors, and miniaturization and chipization of agricultural sensors. Summit on High-Quality Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Wuzhen

This important event was sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The conference brought together leaders of relevant departments, academicians, experts, and business representatives to discuss and exchange ideas on the theme of high-quality development of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Myocardial infarction is accompanied by abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism in most patients, but its mechanism remains unclear. In this special issue on glucose and lipid metabolism, researchers report that a new cardiomyocyte pyroptosis-associated lncRNA (CPAL) is an important regulatory molecule of myocardial glucose and lipid metabolism dysfunction, and that targeted inhibition of the CPAL-mediated NFκB–caspase-1 signaling pathway improves glucose and lipid metabolism dysfunction and inhibits cardiomyocyte pyroptosis after myocardial infarction. This finding may promote the research and development of drugs for the treatment of myocardial inflammation and disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism after myocardial infarction.
