Call for papers: Intelligent Manufacturing
Many countries have developed their national manufacturing strategies in the past few years. Although these strategies are proposed and developed under different backgrounds, their common objective is to achieve intelligent manufacturing, which satisfies the demands of socialization, personalization, servitization, intelligence, and energy conservation. However, for intelligent manufacturing, realizing smart interconnection and interaction, data mining, ubiquitous computing, seamless cyber-physical fusion, etc., are always challenging. Fortunately, new enabling technologies for intelligent manufacturing have been developed recently, thus providing promising approaches to address these challenges. These new enabling technologies include Agents, Cloud Computing and Edge Computing, Internet of Things (IoT) or Industrial Internet, Big Data and Machine Learning, Cyber-Physical System (CPS) and Human-Cyber-Physical Systems, Digital Twins (DT) and Metaverse, and Industrial Foundation Mo...
