Call for Papers: Sustainable and High-Performance Structural Materials

The special issue (SI) of Sustainable Struct Mater will publish cutting-edge research of engineering or scientific importance. A particular focus will be paid to recent achievements in civil engineering materials and their applications, i.e., cement-based high-performance materials and Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites.

• Scopes and Topics:

Low carbon cement based materials: clinker substitution by supplementary cementitious materials, low carbon cement and binders, carbonatable binders and CO2 mineralization, geopolymer, recycled concrete;

High performance cement and concrete: cement-based materials with high strength and toughness, chemical admixture and rheology of concrete, nano-engineered concrete, self-healing concrete, durability of concrete, novel cement-based materials for resilient infrastructure;
Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites: advanced FRP materials in construction, mechanical properties and durability performances, novel applications of FRPs in construction, performances of FRP reinforced structures, design and application technologies of FRP structures.
