 Diversified Food Supply System

Diversified food supply systems are much warranted for global food security in a world with growing population, climate change and uncertainties. All-encompassing approaches, including new food resources, new technologies for biosynthesis and processing, are all under development. This special issue on diversified food supply system invites cutting-edge researches on the efficient expansion and utilization of food resources and related technologies.

Topics of interest

This special issue will publish original research papers, reviews, perspectives and views & comments including but not limited to the following fields:

1. Efficient utilization of agricultural resources and circular economy
2. Marine ranching strategy
3. Theory and technology of non-traditional food (feed) protein production
4. Precise design and breeding of animals and plants
5. Food safety and health

Paper Length

Research Article: up to ~8000 words;

Review: 6000–10000 words;

Perspectives: up to ~3000 words;

Views & Comments: up to ~2000 words, with less than five figures or tables and less than 15 references.
